Christmas Entertaining - Wednesday 11th December (10.30AM)
The run up to Christmas is a magical time from twinkling lights to wonderful seasonal food filling the shops and we want to share it all with family and friends.
However we also know that these times of celebration can lead to stress so I’m going to share with you my top tips & recipes to ensure you stay calm and relaxed whilst entertaining family and friends over the festive season.
- Canapes
- Pecan Shortbread Sandwich
- Smoked Salmon Palmier
- Date & Walnut Mini Scone with Fig & Gorgonzola
- Main
- Blackberry & Apple Stuffed Pork Guard of Honour with Sloe Gin Jus
- Beef & Venison Raised Pie
- Root Veg Tarte Tatin
- Boulangère Potatoes
- Baked Amaretto Cheesecake
- Black Cherry & Kirsch Chocolate Mousse Cake
HOW THE DAY GOES…
10.30AM - Arrival tea, coffee, soft drinks and homemade biscuits. A chance to get to know the group and prepare for a few hours of cooking heaven.
11AM – The cooking demonstration will start and last for around 2½ hours.
1.30PM – All the food cooked is served for lunch with wine – you will receive a folder with all Phyl’s recipes and handy hints and tips.
